The Legality Rating is a new instrument for Italian companies that was introduced in 2012, and is aimed at the introduction and promotion of ethical corporate behaviour principles through the assignment of a judgement made on any requesting company’s compliance with the law, and more generally, on the level of attention dedicated to the proper management of its business. The rating is valid for two years and is issued by AGCM, the Competition and Market Guarantor Authority.
