The Human Resources Management has launched a series of internal training opportunities to foster the professional growth of human resources and to spread a shared organizational culture within the Group. Every year, a structured training programme is implemented through Coswell Campus, after carefully analyzing the training needs of each business unit.
The Group also offers its employees several services like nurseries for working mothers, a club “Medardo Gualandi” where employees can meet their colleagues and relax, an integrative health service, an integrative pension fund and the free distribution of anti-flue vaccines.
Coswell Campus
"Coswell Campus" is an operational project that was created to promote internal training opportunities, the professional growth of human resources and to spread a shared organizational culture within the Group. Training programmes are scheduled once a year according to corporate needs, after carefully analyzing the training needs of each business unit.
In particular, Coswell Campus wishes to support the growth of the Group by focusing on three main policies: improving performances, teamwork, innovative thinking and cost sensitivity. Coswell believes these objectives are the distinctive elements that will bring added value to the way people work and live within the company.
Team Building
Once a year Coswell Campus organizes "Teambuilding", a corporate regatta during which the different teams challenge each other in Italian and European waters.
This teambuilding activity was created with the aim of reinforcing and consolidating the team spirit that has always characterized Coswell, and has become a very popular annual event. The event involves three days of intense sailing competitions among Group managers. The vessels, which are named after the Group's key brands, explore crystal-clear waters operated by crews that are selected from the company's business units by applying a transversal logic: this encourages people to share their experiences, fostering the sharing of values and common objectives.
Nurseries
Coswell employs several women so it has spontaneously decided to support working mothers by creating a corporate nursery. The young guests, who the children of employees, spend their time socializing with their pals and playing under the supervision of qualified educators. The facility has been built by a company specialized in organic building materials and all rooms have been furnished to ensure maximum well-being, hygiene and safety. Meals are supplied by a qualified vendor and the menus are developed by qualified dieticians and controlled by the local health unit.
Corporate club
In general, a Corporate Club is a non-profit organization that is basically designed to create, organize and manage cultural, sports and social gatherings for all employees. Coswell's Medardo Gualandi Club, instead, wants to shake off all formalisms and endorse the spirit of leisure time as an opportunity to get together and get to know one another better. This is the common thread of all the company's initiatives. Countless ideas and enthusiasm galore: though to make this possible, everyone's suggestions and participation are needed. Employees can join the Club at any time and thus take advantage of special conditions offered to club members.
Vaccinations
With a view to paying special attention to employees, Coswell refunds the cost of the anti-flu vaccination
Smoke quitting course (No Smoking Company)
Coswell believes it is important to protect the health of its employees at all levels. When the ban on smoking in public places was introduced, the company decided to endorse a smoke-free policy. To be a no-smoking company does not mean only to ban smoking in common areas and to create a smoking area, but also to take active steps to reduce the problem. Coswell offers all employees who wish to quit smoking a special course organized in partnership with local healthcare facilities.
